What We Offer
To provide you more transparency and a more affordable investment, our Separate, discretionary Socially Responsible Investment portfolios are invested in direct securities whenever feasible.
The service takes our similar global, multi-asset class strategy, but considers ethical, impact, and environmental, social, and governance issues (ESG) when selecting portfolio assets. With a directly invested portfolio, you have complete control over your holdings and can design the portfolio to fit your unique values. Our investment methodology is based on the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Our investment process screens out companies that do not align with the Goals (negative screen), whilst positively identifying investments that promote the Goals, either through the products or services they make (impact) or how they conduct themselves as firms (ESG criteria). We have developed the ‘Henderson Digital Socially Responsible Investment screen’, a proprietary model that ranks global securities based on these factors.
